You know, I had a thought earlier today that I wanted to blog about, but I don't know that I can remember it. I think it was this though...

The power within us all is far greater than I believe we can comprehend. I find it correlated to how strong our mind can be, and how, if we fall into it, we can be controlled by whatever world we create in our minds. Anyone who has felt a fear control their actions for a period of time, knows just how powerful the mind is. But just as the mind is powerful, so are we, so long as we can learn to facilitate and utilize that power. It is important to remember, that while we may not be in control, the world and God, do truly want us to succeed. God does not lay the world in to a perfect little theater for us to play in. Rather, God has created the opportunity for beauty, which we must either participate in or, with intent or inadvertently, ignore or diminish the beauty in the world.

So we have a choice everyday, to love or to fear. I will tell you it is very difficult to break out of either once you are in one. It is possible though. And so it is that struggle that I encounter today. To live with a love so strong, so beautiful, that it contributes to the beauty of the world.

I know I can do it. And it helps to say it outloud, to hear it and proclaim. Believe it! I can humble myself to choose love. And pray every day that God continues to protect me and guide me.
